The Bedouins have occupied Sinai for hundreds of years and have a distinctive culture, which is celebrated in the exhibit. Local Jabaliya Bedouins helped construct this Visitor Centre in the traditional stone building style.
The long history of human occupation in Sinai has left hundreds of archaeological and historical sites in the Protectorate.
The Protectorate staff are working to conserve the area’s wildlife as well as its cultural and historical treasures.
